Jim Fraser – “Still Life 101”
Still Life photography has rules which have developed from its early history in the visual arts. There aren’t very many, but they’re important. And, frankly, somewhat flexible. We’ll also cover the different types of still life photography and some of the common themes and subjects you’ll photograph. There will be LOTS of examples – some of them moderately humorous, or so I’ve been told.
You’ll also learn some tips and techniques for still life photography. And bring your own ideas to share with the group as well. Some of you have been doing still lifes and didn’t even know it.
